Marc Roig

Marc Roig is a physiotherapist and Doctor of Rehabilitation Science from the University of British Columbia, Canada.

Postdoctoral training in Neurophysiology at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He is an Associate Professor at the School of Physical Occupational Therapy in the Faculty of Medicine, McGill University, Canada. His research is related to the neurobiological mechanisms of plasticity that underlie the consolidation of motor memory, as well as the interventions that allow this consolidation. Thus, the objective is to study the recovery of motor function in people with mobility deficits, such as patients with stroke or Parkinson’s disease. He has more than 45 publications indexed on PubMed and more than 3000 citations in scientific articles.
