What do we do

Breaking boundaries

The 21st century has brought us substantial advances in neuroimaging and powerful scientific research, which has enabled us to understand and verify that, as opposed to previous beliefs, the central nervous system is a far more plastic and malleable structure, and, therefore, our therapeutic intervention must seek to realise the maximum potential of all patients to achieve the best possible recovery.

In general, classical or more conventional therapies and those based on classical techniques without a scientific basis are inefficient for ensuring the patient’s maximum potential for recovery.

In contrast, our centre designs treatments which seek to overcome the so-called limits of neurorehabilitation.

Beyond Neurorehabilitation

Classical or more conventional therapies and those based on classical techniques without a scientific basis are inefficient for ensuring the patient’s maximum potential for recovery

Why an intensive and specialised rehabilitation?

This is why, at our centre, we have designed personalised programmes combining a number of different disciplines while providing the best treatments based on scientific evidence, in order to offer the patient a unique service of excellence.

Combining the best professionals with the best means of treatment, we offer a comprehensive approach that covers all the person’s needs

Promising research studies in humans and in experimental models of stroke indicate that environmental enrichment, certain kinds of drug and cell therapy, and intense training may enhance recovery after stroke in both the acute and chronic phases
